Uniform Rules of Conduct for the Interchange of Trade
Data by Teletransmission (UNCID)
A set of standard rules of conduct for the exchange of trade messages
using EDI or other electronic means. UNCID was developed by the International
Chamber of Commerce in Paris.
United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN/ECE)
The Economic Commission for Europe (UN/ECE) is a trade and economic
body/forum in Europe which the countries of North America, western, central
and eastern Europe and central Asia come together to forge the tools of
their economic cooperation. This organization is the working backbone that
administers EDIFACT and plays a leading role in developing EDI.

A unique combination of numbers and letters used to identify a user
by a server.
